I’m Sen Hongo, snowboarder and software developer and the founder of bootstrapped start up Millefeuille, a personal finance manager.
I was born and bred in Singapore, then I emigrated to Japan and have been living here for over 20 years.
I have a lot of interests but my primary hobby is snowboarding. I love it so much I moved from Tokyo to Nagano so that I could snowboard everyday.

It’s supposedly a dev blog but most of it is just me rambling about stuff. Sorry.
I started blogging in 2016 using Jekyll, then Wintersmith, then Hugo. I re-wrote everything in Next.js back in 2021 and accidentally deleted all the previous content.
The current version you’re looking at is built using Astro. The source is available if you’d like to take a look.
